Destination weddings are certainly gaining in popularity, and why not? It’s the perfect opportunity to combine your love for travel and new experiences with your wedding day. Plus, it’s a great way to cull through the guest list a bit for those who prefer a more intimate affair. No matter your reasons for wanting a wedding in a different locale, the Silicon Valley has the perfect place for you to do so by including Hotel Los Gatos in your nuptial plans.
There is just something to be said about a church wedding. Rows of pews, gorgeous stained glass, the classic feel. So many people are utilizing other types of spaces for their nuptials. So, when I see a church wedding it makes my heart sing because it’s becoming so different! Such is the case with this UVA chapel wedding. I’d say that Matt and Carina’s big day makes a big case for staying traditional. So pretty!
Want a perfect engagement session combination? How about an adorable couple, their fun pup, and a gorgeous view off of Skyline Drive? After seeing this session today, I think you will agree that those combine in a trifecta of loveliness – despite a few raindrops along the way.
I love featuring travel content! Ideas for destination weddings, honeymoons, and celebratory getaways is one of the things I adore. Recently, I was invited by Venone PR to experience weddings in Sonoma County wine country orchestrated by Off the Beaten Path Signature Experiences. There were 16 of us who enjoyed a time of relishing so many of the things the county had to offer, and our final night was so beautiful, I just had to share!
I was an invited guest at this location. All opinions are my own.
No matter how fit, tall, short, plump, thin, or couch potato-y a girl is, it seems as though every woman I know struggles with body positivity. We all have certain areas that we are more self-aware about, and I am SO glad that we are in a movement that encourages body confidence. Because if there is one day a woman wants to feel lovely it is her wedding day (and every day, really!).

I adore Virginia. It’s filled with mountains, hills, lakes, and beaches. It has history and super cool towns filled with boutiques and locally owned restaurants. There really is something special about living here. So, when I received this Virginia inspired styled shoot with a note that said, “This is a beautiful styled shoot that is based entirely around the state of Virginia – so I knew immediately that Hill City Bride was my number one choice for publication,” I took notice right away. And then when I saw the photos AND heard the meaning behind several of the elements, I knew you all would adore it just as much as I do. Just wait and see!
The Caribbean is beautiful! Pair that with a small boat, luxury cruise line, and it ends up being the perfect combination. My husband and I spent 11 lovely days wandering around the sea, and this post focuses on the 5 English Caribbean islands we visited along the way.
Although this post is sponsored in partnership with Windstar Cruises, all opinions and views are my own. I took my first cruise on the Mediterranean Sea with Windstar 8 years ago, and I had an equally fabulous time on my second journey and truly love this cruise line.
I’m a firm believer in the having engagement photos taken. They give the photographer the opportunity to get to know a couple before their big day, and…hello, adorable photos! I love the fresh, clean style of this Manassas engagement session that I am featuring today. So lovely!
We are so lucky to be in Virginia, aren’t we? I adore the fact that there are so many parks, rivers, and hillsides for saying, “I do.” And today’s mountainside wedding showcases just that. With natural hues reminiscent of the sky, grass, and sand, this event exudes a soft palette that is woven throughout the day.

Guess what? National S’mores Day comes once a year, but you can definitely enjoy this tasty treat all year ’round. Normally, our family makes them with milk chocolate, but I decided to do something different this year and combine a few of my favorite flavors. I enjoy lavender lemonade, and white chocolate has always been a favorite, so I came up with these lavender lemon s’mores for a fun treat!
I partnered with Lindt to do an Instagram post for National S’mores Day, and I loved the recipe so much that I decided to blog it! No compensation was provided for this blog post.
