A Perfect Virginia Secret Garden Wedding
How the Couple Met
In 2015, Felix and Jamie embarked on a life-altering cruise. While Jamie accompanied her mother, Felix spent the vacation with his friends. On the second night, destiny seated them together for dinner, and their dance ignited an instant connection.
They spent the rest of the trip delighting in the Virgin Islands’ crystal-clear waters and sharing lighthearted banter. Following the cruise, they maintained a long-distance relationship until Felix relocated to Virginia to be with Jamie. Eventually, the couple got engaged on a boat in St. Martin – right where they first met.
A Gorgeous Virginia Wedding Day
Their Virginia secret garden wedding flourished under the enchanting backdrop of the Historic Mankin Mansion’s lush lawns. A romantic atmosphere permeated the day, with abundant red and white floral arrangements adorning every corner.
The garden ceremony featured an arbor cloaked in gorgeous blossoms as Jamie donned an elegant A-line dress with nature-inspired floral motifs. Vintage charm emanated from decorative golden frames and metal bistro furniture sprinkled throughout the venue.
Custom storybooks complete with whimsical caricatures narrate their unique love story for guests to enjoy. Outside, Felix and Jamie shared their first dance as newlyweds on the courtyard’s brick pathway, embraced by flourishing gardens.
As the celebration transitioned indoors, Jamie switched into a dazzling party dress festooned with feathers for a flawless grand finale steeped in ethereal allure. The photos prove what a gorgeous day they had, so — enjoy!
