Here are some of the things you can do while staying at Lake Nona Wave Hotel. Not only is it near so many of the Lake Nona attractions, but it has several on-site. Take a peek!
Peruse the inspiring gallery walls at this Orlando hotel.
Of course, the outside of the Lake Nona Wave Hotel is stately with its signature curved shape, but one step inside showcases one of the more unique aspects of the property: art.
The lobby and surrounding area houses floor-to-ceiling gallery walls filled with interesting pieces. It’s hard to take it all in one glance, and you will notice a new aspect with every glance.
Spend time with your new spouse looking at the art and talking about your favorite pieces and how they inspire you. There are also many couches and seating areas where you can grab a cocktail or just sit and relax as you are surrounded by creativity and color.
Head outside to enjoy the on-site sculpture garden.
The property at the hotel has a lovely garden filled with interesting sculptures for the art lover. In fact, many of the sculptures are romantic in nature, which is perfect for a honeymooning couple.
Additionally, some of the pieces are from the Lewis Collection, and others are from a local artist. Of course, the garden also features lovely flowers and plants to create a sense of calm and beauty.
Also, if you want to have a destination wedding, the sculpture garden has several areas that would be perfect for hosting a cocktail hour or intimate reception.
Spend time in your luxurious, tech-appointed room.
Not only can you relax in your spacious room on your honeymoon, but each one is designed with tech and style in mind. Color and art pieces are woven throughout each room, and comfort is key.
Each room has its own keypad, which makes changing the temperature, dimming lights, and opening the blinds so easy. Also, the TOTO Toilets have heated seats and open automatically when you enter the toilet area — so convenient. Another innovation is the View Glass smart windows, which protect you from UV light.
Lake Nona Wave also has five specially appointed Well+ech rooms that go the extra mile to ensure health and wellness. They contain restorative beds, a snoring sleep scorer, and a whole host of rotating inventions to ensure a good night’s sleep.
Additionally, the beds are plush, the bathrooms are spacious, and you can’t hear a sound from your neighbors. It’s truly a retreat.
Lounge by the pool (in a private cabana, if you’d like!).
The pool is a lovely oasis with lots of areas to sit and enjoy the sunshine. It’s also perfect for honeymooners as it’s not a resort with a lot of children running around. You can take a nap, read, or just enjoy the feeling of the sun on your skin.
There is also a whole host of cocktails and snacks that can be brought to you poolside, so you can spend the day lounging and relaxing while soaking in the view.
Challenge each other to a game in the game room.
Right off of the lobby is one of the most colorful, interactive spaces in the hotel: the game room. Sitting there is a great way to peruse some of the art at Lake Nona Wave, but you can also play a variety of games as you relax.
So, grab a cocktail and spend time together in a different way while you’re on site.

One of the best features of the hotel is the fact that there are several on-site restaurants. And banish any thought of a regular hotel restaurant because the ones inside of Lake Nona Wave have gourmet offerings.
The menus are curated by Chef Guillaume Robin, who has been at the helm of Michelin-starred restaurants. They also have desserts by a pastry champion and cocktails by an expert mixologist. All of this adds up to an amazing feast for your mouth and eyes as the food is as tasty as it is beautiful.
Not only are the food and drinks delectable, but the restaurants are spectacularly designed. Just like every other area of the hotel, art and unique touches have a strong presence.
