This session is so sweet! Couples get engaged – and get photos – and then they get married – and get photos – but how often do couples have photo sessions AFTER the wedding? I love the idea of an anniversary session! Gabe and Temi ventured out to Frying Pan Park in Herndon, Virginia with photographer Melissa of Melissa Desjardins Photography to celebrate. The couple wanted to somewhat relive their wedding day, and the result is so stunning!
Here is a bit of the couple’s story about how they met: Temi and Gabe met while in college; she was a freshman and he was a sophomore. Temi lived in a dorm on the second floor, and to her surprise – Gabe was actually the first floor RA. The rest is history!
I adore so many things about this anniversary session!
- “The champagne bottle was actually a wedding gift from a friend, and she wrote a note to drink it after our first year of marriage,” said Temi. What a GREAT idea for a wedding gift!
- Who doesn’t love big, pink balloons – they added an element of fun to the session.
- Temi’s red shoes are a focal point and add in just the right pop of color!
I hope that you are inspired to celebrate your love today – whether you are engaged or have been married for decades. So fun, and enjoy this beautiful cornfield anniversary session today!
