Again, I adore vintage things, and this heirloom inspired e-session is just perfect! Photographer Ashley of Ashley Nicole Photography states it so well…
Rebecca and Gabe have an appreciation and love for their family that runs deep. So deep, in fact, that they decided to design their entire wedding around family heirlooms that they collected in attics & basements of their loved ones. From vintage matchboxes found in an aunt’s basement to Gaga’s 1960’s issues of Vanity Fair magazine… they were determined to have the essence of their family represented in every part of their wedding.
When it came time to plan their engagement session, we selected Old Towne Petersburg, Virginia as the backdrop. This quaint downtown is sprinkled with antique shopes and cobblestone, and it was the perfect way to carry out their vintage dreams! With Becca in her grandmother’s war-time dress and Gabe with his grandfather’s original tobacco pipe—we hit the town in what ended up being a charming family heirloom inspired engagement!
I truly hope you enjoy this lovely, sunny session today!
