DIY Cake Stands and Pedestals

So fun! Whether you are hosting a birthday party, shower or even a wedding, the cake is often the center of attention (besides the person you are honoring, hopefully!). I know that I consider cake to be a work of art, worthy of display. Here are a few options for crafting your very own diy cake stands, which can be used to hold just about anything (pretty spices in the kitchen, perfumes in the bathroom, books in the bedroom) when it’s not displaying beautiful edibles.

Terracotta pots and glossy paint make these stands from Tara Dennis such a cute option! Click here for instructions on her website.

This next one has GOT to be my favorite. It’s made of wire and hails from The Merry Thought. Adorable!
