DIY – Vintage Button Card Napkin Rings

Again, I adore all things vintage … especially when things are repurposed into the unexpected, and this cute as a button napkin ring does just the trick! This easy project comes straight from the website of Country Living. Where to find these little cards with buttons still remaining? Try scouring estate sales, thrift stores and antique shops for those little finds.

Armed with your vintage button cards and just a few easy instructions, you are well on your way to having these cuties for your own!

As per the website’s instructions: Choose 2 yards each (per 2 napkins) of 5 colors of silk ribbon; gather into a bunch, cut into 8″ bunches, and knot one end of each. Punch 2 holes in sides of vintage button cards. Pull unknotted ribbon ends up through each hole so knot catches under card. Tie loose ends under napkin. Voila! It is that easy with such cute results. They can also pull double duty as a favor or place card, too.

Thank you again to Country Living for this sweet little idea. Photo credit goes to Susan Gentry McWhinney.

Everyday Wedding from S Carter Studios – Josh and Kimberly

I love color, and admittedly red is one of my absolute favorites. I love that the wedding cake is red … so bold and yet so amazingly beautiful!! Thanks goes out to Sabrena Deal of S Carter Studios for sharing Josh and Kimberly’s wedding with us. They were married at Memorial Christian Church and then headed on over to West Manor for their reception. Sabrena said, “It was a beautiful winter wedding at West Manor that happened on a beautiful day in between two huge snow storms.”

Thank you, again, Sabrena!! If you would like to see more of Josh and Kimberly’s wedding, head on over to the blog of S Carter Studios to get even more of a glimpse of them. Be prepared to be inspired!
