Jesse Ciani – Vendor Spotlight by HCB Intern Madison White

I love the HCB interns … they are excited about weddings and planning and blogging! When it comes to Madison White, she loves all three, plus she is planning her own wedding. She had the privilege of interviewing Jessica Brown, who is the founder and crafter behind the lovely items of Jesse Ciani. Enjoy Madison’s writing along with the showcase of beautiful accessories made by Jessica.

Each bride is looking for every detail to be perfect during their wedding day. Jessica Brown, founder of Jesse Ciani, took this to heart in creating her own business of combining unique wedding keepsakes with her love of fashion.

The name, Jesse Ciani, comes from Jessica’s first and middle names (Jessica Ciani). Jessica says of her mother, “She recently confirmed she got the name ‘Ciani’ from a movie she was watching back in Panama. As the closing credits rolled, she saw the name and fell in love with it.”

Jessica lived in New York, which is the fashion capital of the world, and worked at an elite wedding and evening gown designer, but she then decided to move with her husband and two sons to Sacramento, California and knew her career would change. Jessica knew that she was determined to pursue her dream and was able to do so.

Jesse Ciani offers a unique handmade collection that includes ring bearer pillows, flower girl baskets, wedding sashes/belts, photo albums, and more. Jessica makes these handmade collections with high quality fabrics, luxurious trims, and handmade embellishments.

Jessica enjoys fusing the old and new to create a vintage feel to her products, but she also researches the latest fashion in today’s world.

In knowing that many brides are looking for a special touch to create a memorable impression on their special day, Jessica welcomes custom orders to coordinate with a wedding’s theme and colors or the personal style of the bride. All the accessories are handmade by Jessica, and the details are very important to her.

Jessica was inspired when she began designing photo albums to showcase her family photos, which also showed her love of fashion, and it became a conversation topic for visitors that would come to her house when they saw them spread out on her coffee table.

After special order requests from her visitors and spreading her name through word of mouth, she decided to begin selling them. She then was asked to make a photo album for a friend of hers who was getting married, and she also made a ring bearer pillow and flower girl basket that complimented the beautiful photo album. Her friend was overwhelmed.

Clearly, Jessica Brown has the eye for fashion, is extremely creative, and keeps her designs fresh and unique by fusing old and new. Jesse Ciani products are handmade by Jessica in Sacramento, California, she welcomes orders via her website, and she will ship your beautiful finished design right to your location!

Everyday Bridal Session by Visions by Heather – Meagan

Little girls dream of their wedding day … the day when they get to wear a beautiful gown and look their best, and today the “best” includes a lot of things to think about such as hair, makeup, nails, accessories … the list goes on!

I loved these pictures of Meagan as soon as I caught a glimpse of the ones that were taken at City View. She is so stunning, and her bridal look is spot on and flawless to say the least.

Heather Cheatham of Visions by Heather captured her images at City View in downtown Lynchburg … I actually did a get together for the Hill City Bride advertisers there last night, and we all had a wonderful time. It is a fun atmosphere, a beautiful view of the city and the food is delicious (I highly recommend the “white pizza bruschetta” … yummy!). Enjoy these gorgeous images captured there!

I saved my favorite image for last … again, Meagan makes such a gorgeous bride, and I wish her and her beau the best in the future. Heather, thank you again for sharing these with HCB. To view more of Meagan’s bridal session, take a look at the blog of Visions by Heather.
